Vacancy: Software Engineer/Developer

SALARY RANGE: 20 K– 35 K


ATMOS International Limited is a highly successful worldwide engineering software and service supplier to the blue chip companies in the oil, gas, aviation, water and chemical industries. Our state-of-art software includes statistical pipeline leak detection, hydraulic simulation, pig tracking, batch tracking, optimization, tank farm management and gas management systems.

 

Due to the continuous growth and expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for several motivated individuals in software development. Working in a young, dynamic and fast growing technology company, this role may suit an experienced developer or a bright graduate for dynamic opportunities with a steep learning curve in engineering software.

 

The Software Developer will work as part of an Agile team and be expected to undertake the following duties:

  • Create/define User stories based on customers input/expectations
  • Create/define Nunit test cases to verify your work
  • Work with Source Control systems Cruise control Bugtracking management
  • Work in two to three week Agile iterations and demonstrate your work
  • Develop new features/products as well as support existing products
  • Provide documentation and training.
  • Learn on the job

The key skills required of the developers include:

  • Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or physics.
  • Expert with VB.Net/C#
  • Expert with WCF, WPF and dotnet 3.5/4.0
  • Good understanding of XML, ADO.net•and SQL Server 2005/2008
  • Good understanding of Source control systems and branching
  • Expert Object Orientated Design
  • Experience with Nunit/nMockup/Moq and other mockup/testing tools
  • Good understanding of Linq to Objects, Linq to SQL, Linq to XML
  • Good understanding of Web systemsSilverlight
  • OPC knowledge would be an advantage but is not necessary

It is not necessary but an advantage if you have experience in pipeline/process simulation, hydraulic analysis, pipeline engineering or instrumentation/control systems.
