What is ATMOS Pipe?
ATMOS Pipe is a statistical pipeline leak detection and location
system, incorporating advanced pattern recognition functions. The system
is designed to operate on both gas and liquid pipelines.
Based on flow and pressure measurements, ATMOS Pipe continuously
calculates the probability of a leak. If a leak occurs, ATMOS Pipe will
generate an alarm automatically and advise both the scale of the leak and
its approximate location.
Once installed, ATMOS Pipe continuously adapts itself to changes in the
pipeline and measuring instruments. This learning capability reduces
operating costs, by as much as US $100,000 per annum.
ATMOS Pipe offers the following benefits
