Due to continuous growth and expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual. You will quickly become responsible for the development of key aspects of the next generation of tools associated with Atmos technologies. Technologies that include pipeline leak and theft detection, hydraulic simulation, pig and batch tracking, operation optimization, and gas management systems.

Working in a young, dynamic and fast-growing technology company, this role will suit a graduate software developer or a developer with a few years’ experience who demonstrates they can quickly learn the latest cloud and web technologies and shows strong skills in user interface and experience.

You will be working within our research and development team and be expected to undertake the following duties:

  • Design, develop and demonstrate new features and products
  • Create/define test cases to verify your work
  • Peer code reviews
  • Participate in product and/or application definition activities including feature analysis and system trade-offs
  • Help create/define/document requirements based on customers input/expectations
  • Work with legacy code
  • Work with other experts to evaluate application results and performance

The key skills required include:

  • Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics or physics.
  • Experience in Java
  • Experience in JavaScript/Typescript.
  • Good understanding of Source control systems and branching.
  • Experience with JUnit/Mockito or other unit test tools.

It is not necessary, but a background in the following would be an advantage;
