Atmos will be presenting and exhibiting at ptc Asia 2026

Atmos International will attend the 2nd Pipeline Technology Conference Asia (ptc Asia), taking place November 24-26, 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Malaysia.

ptc Asia brings together pipeline operators, technology providers, EPCs, regulators and researchers to share practical experience and discuss the challenges shaping pipeline operations across the region.

The technical conference and exhibition will cover topics across the pipeline lifecycle, including integrity and inspection, leak detection, digitalization, CO2 transportation, offshore operations and the energy transition.

Our presentations

Large language models and real-time simulation for AI-assisted pipeline planning and optimization
Presented by Harry Smith, Sales and Senior Research Engineer at Atmos International
16:55–17:15 MYT on Wednesday November 25
Session 1.2 Digitalization – Room 306

Harry will explore how Atmos Intelligent Optimizer (AIO) combines large language models, transient pipeline simulation and cloud computing to support operational planning and optimization. The presentation will cover applications including pressure management, energy optimization, linepack evaluation, maintenance planning and gas quality assessment.

Leak detection challenges and operational lessons for CO2 pipelines in CCS projects
Presented by Joe Kelly, Senior Principal Engineer at Atmos International, and co-authored by Kaidy Kho, Vice President - Business Development at Atmos International
17:20 - 17:40 MYT on Wednesday November 25
Session 4.2 CO2 Pipelines - Room 305

Joe will discuss the practical challenges of leak detection on CO2 pipelines used in carbon capture and storage projects, including transient conditions, phase changes and intermittent flow. The presentation will also explore how statistical leak detection and operational state management can improve sensitivity while reducing false alarms.

Meet the Atmos team

Atmos International will also be exhibiting at stand A10. Visit our team to learn more about our latest pipeline leak detection, simulation, optimization and integrity monitoring technologies.

At the stand, we’ll be demonstrating Atmos Intelligent Optimizer (AIO), our AI-assisted pipeline optimization solution designed to help operators assess complex operating scenarios and make faster, more informed decisions.

Visitors can also learn more about Atmos Advanced Sensing for Pipelines (ASP), a compact sensing device that can be mounted on cleaning pigs or used free floating to collect acoustic, pressure, magnetometry, temperature and acceleration data, helping identify anomalies such as small leaks, theft tapping points, dents and other geometry discontinuities.

We’ll also have our latest pipeline monitoring hardware on display, highlighting how advanced sensing, high quality field data, AI and simulation can help operators improve pipeline visibility and make better informed operational and integrity decisions.
