Running to raise funds for the world’s largest independent funder of cancer research
13 colleagues from Atmos International’s (Atmos) UK office recently ran the annual AJ Bell Great Manchester Run to help raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK.
The Great Manchester Run consists of 10k, half marathon and wheelchair events, with five Atmos colleagues completing the 10k and eight completing the half marathon.
Despite a range of weather conditions, all Atmos colleagues achieved impressive times. This year Atmos’ best 10k times were:
- Conor Devine, Senior Principal Engineer - 00:47:44
- Liam Callagher, Team Delivery Lead - 00:48:23
- Ali Lakho, Software Developer - 01:05:33
Atmos’ best times for the half marathon were set by:
- Manu Leech, Project Engineer - 01:39:52
- Oliver Port, Senior Project Engineer - 01:40:44
- David Bisby, Product Expert (Software Development) - 01:41
Senior Project Engineer and organizer of Atmos’ Great Manchester Run Oliver Port said: “It was fantastic to see so many Atmos colleagues come together again to support Cancer Research UK.
Reaching our fundraising target is a great achievement and we’d like to thank everyone who has helped us along the way.”
